Template Selection

Some products are offered in only one optiopn, while others have more than one sleeve and/or front zipper style option. The templates are also provided in three different formats; AICS3, AICS2, and PDF. Select the template with the right option for you.

Downloading the Template

The template file will automatically download to your computer. If the template download is cancelled or blocked by Pop-up blocking software, you can click the link to download the template file manually. If you are using Safari on an Apple computer, the file will open in a new Safari window. You can close the new window and click on the download link while holding the Option Key on the keyboard. This will tell Safari to download the linked file.

 

Working with the Template File

For your convenience the client template files are provided in Adobe Illustrator CS3, CS2 and PDF formats. Objects in the client template are organized in the Layers palette in order to serve the different stages of the proofing and production processes. The 3D Overlay Display, the SUGOI Logos, the Art Placement Guides and the Registration Marks layers must all remain locked in order to prevent the template elements from getting mixed in with your artwork.

• The 3-D Overlay Display Layer: The 3D Overlay Display layer, located at the top of the Layers palette list, is for the purpose of previewing your artwork on the custom website’s online 3D model. The elements in this layer show the custom garment’s style detailing such as stitching, zippers, seam binding, seam lines and non-sublimated panels. The 3D Overlay Display layer specifies ‘No Art in This Layer’ and is locked in order to preserve its integrity. Please do not move, unlock, edit, delete or add art to it. Turn the 3D Overlay Display layer on when you are ready to upload your completed art template to the custom website.



• The Artwork Layer: Your artwork goes into this unlocked Artwork layer.Your artwork should completely cover each pattern piece represented by the light blue objects.



• The Art Placement Guides Layer: One set of artwork is used to print a garment’s full XS to 2XL size range. The Art Placement Guides are there to help you position your artwork in each art panel. Fill the art panel to the edges with background art. Foreground art such as logos and type, which must appear on every size of the garment, should be positioned within the XS Logo Safe Zones. Logo Line and Center Line guides were provided to help you align your artwork in a panel or center it to achieve symmetry. The Logo Orientation arrow indicates the direction a logo should read.

Uploading your Artwork

Now that you’ve placed your artwork, you’ll need to upload it back to the website. The time it takes to upload the artwork depends on the speed of your Internet connection and the file size.

Reviewing the 3D Model

The website will now render a 3D model of your template file. The time it takes to render depends on the speed of your computer, your Internet connection and the file size. Once the file is rendered, you can rotate, pan and zoom into the model. If you're happy with how the model appears, you can set the quantities that you'd like to order.

Reviewing Your Cart

You can now review your Cart and confirm that the quantities are correct for your order.

Login or Create a New Account

If you're a returning user, you can log into your account. If you're a new user, you can create a new account.

Submit or Save Your Order

If you're ready to submit your order, assign your order a name and press Submit Order. If you're not quite ready and would like to save your order as a draft, assign an order a name and press Save as Draft.

Order Confirmation

Once you've placed your order, you'll receive confirmation from the website and an automated email will be sent to the email address you provided. Within 48 hours you'll be contacted by a Custom Sales Representative to discuss your order.
